About this listen
When war returns, a new generation must meet the challenge.
The world of Dalriya is unable to resist Ezenachi, a god with the power to enslave entire kingdoms to his bidding. Sanc has inherited sorcerous gifts but hasn't a clue how to use them. His brother Peyre can wield a sword but must learn how to lead armies.
Sanc must look beyond Dalriya to save it. Peyre must find a way to unite its divided, warring realms against a common foe. An epic quest of heroism, magic, cutthroat politics, family loyalty and scheming betrayal, love and bitter hatred. Set in an intricate, labyrinthine world inspired by medieval Europe. Over 40 hours of epic fantasy; one complete storyline.
Featuring all three novels:
An Inheritance of Ash and Blood
Sanc, a duke's son with red eyes, is confronted with a twisted inheritance when he learns sorcerous power flows through his veins.
A Crucible of Fire and Steel
Two worlds hang in the balance as war engulfs the land.
A Reckoning of Storm and Shadow
Amidst a tapestry of soldiers, dukes, kings and queens, emperors, and champions, the destinies of two worlds converge in the epic culmination of the Heirs of War series.

Hiral is the Everfail, the weakest person on the flying island of Fallen Reach. He trains harder than any warrior. Studies longer than any scholar. But all his people are born with magic powered by the sun, flowing through tattoos on their bodies. Story
It seemed the unthinkable had happened. Someone had actually targeted the Ghalian, an order of assassins known and feared across the systems. It was madness. Only a fool would go after the likes of them. But, it seemed, the galaxy had no shortage of fools. Retaliation most bloody was in order, and one man stood ready to spring into action. Hozark was his name, and he was no ordinary man. He was a Master Ghalian, an assassin skilled in the ways of death. Practical, mechanical, magical, to him it made no difference.
