this was an amazing series,now I just need books 1 and 2. So many amazing stories I can't pick a favorite. perfect narration and writing make this a don't miss.

Kenneth Obi does an AMAZING job on this collection. His voice is so calming and easy to listen too.

good stories- not great narrator

I agree with some of the other sentiments on here- I miss the narrator, Cooper North, from books 1 & 2. The new narrator has a stilting way of reading, pausing in weird places that actually throws me off. He also sounds like he's trying too hard (if that makes sense? Like, his voice goes comically deep or something) when he voices Royal, which hurts my heart bc I love Royal so much. It kind of messed with the way I enjoyed the story, but I was able to get past it. I have listened to other books by Kenneth Obi and they are fine, so I'm not sure what happened here. Maybe I was just too used to Cooper from the first books?

Anyway, stories are good and the bonus content was a nice touch :)

Four Books AND Bonus Stories!

This box set has Heathens Ink books #3, #4, #5, and #6 as well as a multitude of bonus short stories, most notably “Dear Cupid” and “Out of Focus.” This is a great series and I found it even more entertaining to listen to these books all in order.

Kenneth Obi narrated this box set, and while most of it was well done, there were a few moments where the audio quality was a little off. However, I found it to be well worth the listen and extremely enjoyable.

Omg this audio book was absolutely positively amazing. I would highly recommend this audio book.

Another wonderful series, but narration was uneven

Really appreciated the character development, the variety of stories, and the found family vibes.

This is not a narrator I would listen to again. He has a higher, slightly effeminate voice and a lower more masculine one. But he didn’t use them consistently for the characters - halfway through a dialogue he’d switch his tone of voice, but not the right one for the character. I found it very distracting. And with the throuples (two of them in this series) it was even worse.

Great

I love this series so much and it was great to have a decent amount of them all together. The extra content was just the cherry on top.

Wonderful Collection

3 From Ashes - Adam, Nox - Reborn - 14-15 March - In a way both Adam and Nox get a 2nd chance at life. There is some outside drama. But there is so much love and caring in this story. Listened to the audio version and enjoyed it.
4 - Shattered Pieces = Gage, Beck - Reboot - 16-17 March - I was so glad to see Gage find his way back to life again. Beck is sweet and sassy enough to pull Gage out. It helps that Beck is respectful of Johnny’s memory. But Gage helps Beck recalim himself as well in the best way. The audio was well done.
5 - Inked in Vegas - all characters - What Happens in Vegas…. - 18-20 March - This story is a great romp with all the Heathen’s family. You get plenty of humor and some unexpected twists. Great way to visit with everyone. I listened to audio and enjoyed it.
6 - Flash Me - Liam, Wyatt, Owen - Waited Long Enough - 21-22 March - I love Liam’s story. Since he appeared at Rainbow House looking for Royal I’ve been hoping he get his own HEA. It was great to see how his dreams played out.
Dear Cupid - Royal, Nash, Zade - Baby - 22 March 2024 - This short story has the motto be careful of what you overhear. A funny story that ends with good surprises for all.
Plus all the other fun little shorts added to this recornding.

Fantastic series

I really enjoyed these 4 books. I have read the series and absolutely love it. I think Kenneth has done a great job narrating these books.

Loved these books

I really enjoyed this boxed set, as well as the bonus stories. My favorites, though, were Nox and Adam's story, and Liam, Owen, and Wyatt's. Liam is my favorite of all the characters, and I really loved the way he knew what he wanted and came up with a plan to get it. I always enjoy Kenneth Obi's narrations, but I wish there had been a little more continuity with Cooper North's narration of book 2. Obviously the voices will be different, but it would have been nice if the timbre had matched. A few characters who had deeper voices with one narrator seemed to have higher voices with the other, but that was the only thing that bothered me. I enjoyed all the books, and it was definitely worth the listen.
