It's A Sabe Story,,, & W Myself Seeing One 39years ago,& Being Native American,,,, I Have Been Intrigued Since That Day! Hats Off To The Writer! Please Come Out W A Follow Up Book, That Follows The Officer Woman That Had To Go On The Run.... MUST LISTEN IF ENJOY STORIES ABOUT THE SABE(Hairy Man, In My Culture)!👍👏👏

AI reader needs work. Tonal inflection and pronunciation was distracting. Enjoyed the author’s work. Great story, likable relatable characters.

I hope voice actors don’t get replaced by them.
About the book: sophomoric writing and needs a professional editor. But it’s not bad and I will read/listen to their other books since I enjoy cryptid nonsense. I bet it’s a better read than it was an audiobook.

Note to author: there are no brown or grizzly bears in Colorado. Not for a long time. Just black bears. I find that an important error in books about Sasquatch.

Nail biting battle with the big boy

The isolation, the desperation and the fear of friends and family put this story near the top of my list. Worth the time

Virtual voice wasn’t bad

I have listened to the other Hawthorn lane series, this was ok. I got lost a few times when it shifts back and forth in the time period. Chapters 30 and 31 were a bit much. Overkill.

AI sucks

The story was enjoyable and captivating. The AI made it amusing but not in a good way. The inflection was way off as was the reading of certain words. Id rather hear a human!!

Gave up twice

I will admit that I gave up twice on this story but since I hate giving up one a story, I gave it one late try and that's when it finally snapping into place. I think the Virtual Voice did a disservice to this story and if it had been read by a human, I might have to fight my way there it.

Do I recommend the audible version of this story - No. I think you're better off getting a copy and reading it. The novel is popcorn novel and is prefect for a lazy weekend.

story was great. virtual voice narrator on the other hand was awful. I will never understand why authors allow their books to be read by this virtual narrator it's terrible it sounds like s*** it takes away from their book and the story that's being told and the overall performance. quit being a tightwad spend some freaking money and hire a real narrator.

AI Voice is unbearable

I really tried to stick it out. But the computer voice is abysmal. It ruins the story and any interest I might have had in it.
I really hope they don't start using this more often. Cost-cutting is one thing, but if no one can stomach the content you produce, then the effort is useless.
