Thrill ride

A thrill ride all the way across Texas, this is an entertaining action novel. It's not particularly believable, but it's fun throughout.

Gun fights, knife fights, redneck mafia, car chases, and explosives -- this book has it all.

If you're looking for a sober police procedural, this certainly isn't that, but if you want cinematic action, this is the place.

Hawk is awesome!

Another winning Hawk book!!!!! Sonny Hawk is Jake Reacher plus change!!! Thankfully his sidekicks, Yolanda & Perry arrive in time to save his bacon again! I love that with all of Sonny’s talents he still sometimes has issues with his impulsiveness and he really needs to learn to shoot better!!!!!

What a story! Another winner from Wortham. I'll be waiting for the next Hawk novel.

wild ride

nonstop action with a bigger than life Texas Ranger. I enjoyed every minute of this audio book. the reader had just the right accent and voice to make it seem real. Story kept me on the edge of my seat and even a couple of the bad guys had my sympathy. Read it, you'll understand and enjoy the wild ride.
