really good

This is about a women who gets off a train in a new place that should be low on the crimes but when she steps off the train someone grabs her and he gets shot by the law and another person gets killed as well A guy is trying to take outlaws to the judge but 90% of the time they never make it alive and the judge told the guy that he has to tale over the sheriff of a town and he still trying to find the person who killed his father

Wonderful clean western

This is like the westerns I grew up on. It has suspense, greed, lies, action, unexpected twists and turns, friendship, a budding romance, compassion, and love. Amy and Dent both have issues in their past that prevent them from moving forward to their happy future. The author gives us great character development so we can see the real characters.

Meghan Kelly does an amazing job as narrator. She gives voice to the different characters and portrays their emotions. Ms Kelly gives us distinct male and female voices. Although I just recently became aware of Ms Kelly, I now really look forward to listening to the books she narrates.

I received this Audible book in exchange for an honest review. Like I said this book reminds me of the old westerns I use to watch and enjoy.

The Marshall ,the hangman and the young lady.

l am really enjoying these country romances. There is so much community woven in throughout the story that l felt l had a stake in the town and the residences reputations. The happy ever after ending sure leaves a smile on your face and looking for more. I enjoyed the differing narrated voices, one so deep l don't know how Meghan Kelly managed it Over all a satisfying and entertaining story. Recommended listening.

Beautiful story of overcoming ones past

Heather has written a beautiful story that includes two characters that need to overcome something in their past with uncertain futures. The storyline was engaging and kept me wanting more.

The narrator did a good job with the story. The only downside is that there are a few places where the audio gets loud based on the scene in the book. I found myself dropping the volume during those times. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the audiobook.

Wonderful Western

I was given a free copy of this audio book in exchange for an honest review. A Marshall and a schoolteacher in an inspirational, historical romance. Really enjoyed this one.

Clean Western Romance

This was my first Heather Blanton's book. Hang Your Heart on Christmas is the first book in The Brides of Evergreen Series. This is a fun and clean Western Romance. Dent and Amy's story is well written, filled with twists and turns, suspense and action. Meghan Kelly did a great narration, as always.

Wonderful, clean Western romance and mystery

I listened to this on a road trip. it was longer than my trip and I didn't want to get out of the car. it was engrossing. Finished it on the way home.

Wonderful

I was hooked from word one! I loved reading about Dent and Amy and how they solved their own and each other's problematic pasts. This book read like an old episode of Gunsmoke with a little twist to keep you hooked!
