Not much to dislike. Mix of characters, AI in the mix, self-discovery and self knowledge of characters.

Excellent Story of Found Family in Space

For those who have read book 1, this one is equally good. If you haven’t already read the first book, pick up Cascade Failure first. I’ve haven’t fallen in love with characters this much since the Murderbot series.

Great Space Opera

One of the best books I've listened to this year! I loved the first book, but this one is even better. The crew of the Ambit are broken, broke down, screwed up people, but they're a family together.

Full on action with complex believable characters

While the action is non-stop it is the characters that make these books stand out. Complex, tough, yet vulnerable and struggling to deal with relationships, they are n ver maudlin.

Great narration really brings these characters to life and moves the story along.

Compelling Story

I can tell that the characters grew since the first book. The pace of the story felt similar while still throwing in twists and intrigue in how these character shifts would affect the story. Well narrated as well

Same thoughts I had when reviewing the first book. But even better as 2 new wonderful characters are brought in to the story. Great narration as before. The voices of each character fit each personality perfectly and are very distinct. Plot was fabulous,intense, and a fitting conclusion. Still room for more books in this series. I am hopeful!

Love the connection between the characters that grows.

If you enjoy character comradery this is a wonderful book. Very much love the sarcasm and development of each of the main characters. It was a bit predictable at times but overall a wonderful story.
