About this listen

You can never run away from your demons....

Thirty-two-year-old Dylan Reynolds has devoted himself completely to his family. He's tried to put his past behind him, climbing the corporate ladder at a prominent Chicago newspaper. But when his daughter, Hunter, begins speaking of a new and mysterious friend, Dylan can't help but fear that his past has come back to haunt him.

Dylan watches in horror as Hunter's new imaginary friend appears more and more frequently in their everyday lives. His wife is convinced that it's just the active imagination of a seven-year-old. But Dylan knows better. The erratic behavior, the hushed discussions, the chill he gets whenever Hunter speaks of her friend. The signs are all too familiar for him to ignore.

Determined to settle the score, Dylan turns to tarot reader and trusted friend, Evelyn Nardini. But neither of them is prepared for how deadly the game has truly become.

All Dylan knows is that he must do everything he can to save his family. Or face an end at the hands of an evil far darker than he could have ever imagined....

The last book is just as great as the others!

How well do you know the person that you chose to marry? How well do you know the child that came from that union? These are questions that Dylan hast to ask himself! I was sad to see this end, but at the same time, all good things have to come to an end, and this was this series’s time.

Nice conclusion

This was the final chapter of Dylan's life with the demon. Dylan is now 32. married and father to a daughter. There are some twists to the story but I saw them coming and predicted some of them almost from the beginning. Still, it was a nice conclusion and a good story.

Unexpected Ending

This is the 3rd book of seriesand recommends you listen 1st to Ghost Mirror then 2nd Gatekeeper as it follows Dylan Reynolds life with reoccurring twin demon Dereck. Dylan is now married with daughter and an unexpected ending and enjoyed the character especially Evelyn, there is a lot of twists and turns just listen to it.

Sad it’s over

Great conclusion to the series. Things get real intense now that Dillon is in his 30’s with a family. Creepy things start happening once his daughter begins talking about her ‘friend’. Is Derrick back? Will Dillon’s extremely catholic wife be able to handle Dillon’s past? That’s all I’ll say, no spoilers here! John Pirhalla does a grey job narrating!
