Acerca de esta escucha

The Zondervan Biblical and Theological Lectures series provides a unique audio learning experience. Unlike a traditional audiobook's direct narration of a book's text, Grasping God's Word: Audio Lectures includes high-quality live recordings of college-level lectures that cover the important points from each subject, as well as relevant material from other sources.

Grasping God's Word has proven itself in classrooms across the country as an invaluable help to listeners who want to learn how to read, interpret, and apply the Bible for themselves. The third edition, revised based on feedback from professors, will continue to serve anyone in their quest to gain a firm grasp on the rock of God's word. Old Testament scholar J. Daniel Hays and New Testament expert J. Scott Duvall provide practical hands-on exercises to guide listeners through the interpretive process. To emphasize the Bible's redemptive arc and encourage correlation across the canon, the authors have included a call to "cross into the rest of Scripture" as an additional step in the Interpretive Journey.

Have you ever heard a good word at church, radio, TV and then say to yourself that was so good I wish I could see that when I study? or wow I can't believe I missed that or I never saw that before. Well this book will show you how that's done and yes anybody can see these amazing truths on Thier own, yes that also means even those who are not believers "However" that does not mean they will believe the truths that are discovered as we who love Christ know that only the spiritual can discern the things of the spirit meaning being able to accept it as truth or not. Absolutely loved this book if you put it on at a speed and a half you can get thru it in about 3 hrs then book mark places you want to go back and review. You will not be disappointed. free yourself by feeding yourself God is good and has some amazing things ahead of you .

Excellent guide to get the best out of studying God's word. And help others to learn to study on their own.

Great Book

Grasping God's Word is easy to read and understand. It's informative and a great help for Sunday School and Bible study.

Sunday School teachers friend.

Great teaching. Some really annoying silent breaks that are too long. Also, content is not the whole book, but a synthesis. The worst is that Audible never bothers to actually properly name the chapters in their books.

Generic chapters are not useful
