I need more
man I am flying through these books… I did this wrong though I started with Hoffman and now am going back to Ember war, I have loved the characters, to the point a tear came to my eye as they developed and grew. Thank you for this amazing series

Needs to be put past editor again, but nice wrap to storyline
There are places where the story gets confused, sequence of events and characters appear to be in two places at same time, some names get swapped. Needs to be run past a better editor or proofreader.
Great wrap up of Hoffman storyline and nice setup for next series. Looking forward to it!

Great Book
I couldn't stop listening. Maybe when I had to attend meetings and join conference calls; but there was no TV.. The underlying humor was enjoyable - memories is what gets everyone through the life and hard times of being a Marine, even futuristic ones.
The future Marines are like the old Marines are about God, Country, the Marine Corps.

If you’ve made it this far you won’t be disappointed.
There are a lot of inconsistencies and small things that come up (weapon has been broken a minute earlier and now it’s being brushed off), and sometimes I had to backtrack because we’d jumped forward or back in time then back again.
Did it make this any less of a dang cool ember wars book? Nope. Plow through the choppiness that most likely resulted from two authors out of sync and enjoy one of the better books in the series.
