Predictable with underwhelming plot/characters
Almost couldn’t finish this one. Had to bribe myself with the promise of the new Robert Galbraith book…finally finished yesterday and honestly feel like my time was wasted. Had potential to be much better, but the “big twist” at the end simply wasn’t worth waiting for. Contrived and too many perspective changes where the story is being told by one character, only to suddenly shift to a different one right as the details are falling into place. Normally that type of “hook” makes you want to keep reading on, but in this case it just made you want to walk away.

Not my fav but so so
I like this author so I was very excited for this book. I did like it but just not my fav when it comes to this author. Very classic Feeney book were two things that make no since comes together at the end.

Great book
Loved this book. Suspenseful to say the least. I couldn’t put it down. Each chapter had me thinking I knew what was going only to find out there was another layer.

Pretty good, entertaining listen
Story is far fetched (as are many thriller novels haha) but it kept me entertained and had some good twists. Narrator did a nice job. Overall, I’d recommend this book.

THESE. PLATITUDES. ARE. TOO. MUCH.
I appreciate Alice Feeney’s creativity but it seems like every other sentence is a platitude about life. I am trying to get through the book but I almost don’t think I can.

WoW! Gripped to the Very End!
This story had so much great character development and just when you think you know what's going on.... it twists in another direction, and then another and another! What a great listen on audible! My first Alice Feeney book and will not be my last! Can't wait to read /listen to more of her books!

Twists and Turns- You really don’t know the end until the end
A lot of reviews claimed this was predictable but I disagree. I think some parts were predictable but that lead you to being shocked about the actual truth. This is a very cute mystery book and keeps you surprised until the very end. It’s a bit slow in the middle but worth it for the ending.
