About this listen

Lara Callahan has come to the small town of Pinewood to start over and to hide. Devon Shane has come looking for answers. When the wary woman and mysterious man take roles in a community theater production, they risk far more than the judgment of an audience. They risk their very lives.

Because both of them have secrets. Both are living a lie. And both know the first rule of survival is: tell no one. It's a rule they'll have to break.

Golden Threads is a romantic story with an edge of suspense, first published in 1989.

Nice!

The story is absolutely great. I liked to hear it. The characters are well described and the suspense is almost touchable.

But sometimes I had to laugh because of the voice. The voice of the herione is a bit too high, too fragile and it sounds slightly pathetic. Some voices are so low it was funny. A woman (the storyteller) trying to talk like big man of 300 pounds who is very serious, is just amusing in the wrong way.

But that doesn't destroy the effects of romance and suspence. Its a lovely exiting and sometimes even funny story and I would recommend it to anyone who loves romance with the edge of a detective.

(I'm sorry my English isn't flawless- I'm Dutch)

Not even good mommy porn

Just an unbelievable story wrapped around ridiculous sex scenes. Now I remember why I never finished it when I bought it.
