Publisher's summary

"The highest accomplishment of humanity is entering the overwhelming presence of God. Our whole purpose as created beings is to utilize our time delighting in the manifestpresence of our Creator." (A.W. Tozer)

***

God on Fire is why you were born. You are more alive in the middle of God's white-hot presence than anywhere else on earth. Once you encounter the manifest presence of Christ, you will never want to settle for anything less.

In fact, the manifest presence of Christ is the single factor that distinguishes the church from the Kiwanis Club or the sports bar.

Normally the history of revival is studied from man's perspective; what we do to encounter God.

God on Fire explores what God does to encounter us. This book will help you:

- Learn the difference between the omnipresence and the manifest presence of God.

- Discover there is more to knowing God than lukewarm religious activity.

- Explore the manifest presence of Christ through both Biblical and modern history.

He reads horribly!!

What would have made God on Fire better?

I'm sure that the content of the book is superb, however, he should not have read his own writing. He had stuttered and stop and lost his place at least 32 times by the time it reached 10 mins into the 2nd chapter. So If clarity and storytelling is important to you, you'd better read the book yourself. Also, sometimes people just do not have an audible voice to read, similar to radio, not everyone can be on radio. Lastly, it seems as though he was recording this in his bedroom at home, because it should have been necessary to correct and edit all of the areas he said the wrong word. This leads me to believe that he either didn't edit it at all or worked alone with his own equipment and did not have the means to edit. Bless his heart, but he does not do his book justice with this reading. It is more than obvious that he is reading and at times it seems as though this is the first time he is seeing some of these words.

Would you be willing to try another one of Fred Hartley’s performances?

Notif he is the reader.
