That’s what I was told, but believe me, I’m starting to wonder if all of this isn’t more trouble than it’s worth.

My new life in the city was supposed to challenge me. Little did I know that the biggest challenge I’d face was out sassing the conman, who can’t keep his hands off me.

great story

This story had me entertained from the very beginning. The chemistry between Harlow and Ryske is evident throughout this story.
Ryske is so much a smooth talker, Harlow tries to keep her heart guarded from the flirty, con man she became to love. She has her doubts about him. Is he playing her or is this real?
Elizabeth Russell is amazing telling this story. All characters have their own voices and personalities and she performs it well.

Okay...

This was okay—starts out with lots of action and shady characters … doesn’t keep with this pace, but does pack lots of scheming and witty banter. The action does pick back up eventually, as do the steamy times (though the dialogue during these was a bit cheesy for me).

Overall:
3.5 stars.

Entertaining!

This was my first Scarlett Finn's book and won't be my last. This is the first book in the Go Series. Harlow and Ryske's story is entertaining, and passionate, filled with humor, banter, danger, action, and twists and turns. Elizabeth Russell did an excellent job bringing these characters and this story to life. She has a beautiful voice, pleasant to listen to. The story ends with a big cliffhanger! Looking forward to listening to the next book in the series. #PFPAudio

WOW

Fate had a hand in bringing Harlow and Ryske together. From different backgrounds and total opposites, but somehow she fits right in with him and his crew. As the story unfolds, Ryske and Harlow's chemistry only gets stronger but she wants more than he is willing to give. The twist and turns of this story keeps you wanting more, but the ending, UGH!

A great start to the Go series. Narrating was good however, sometimes I felt she made Ryske sound whiny.

So interesting!

The narrator did an excellent and entertaining job telling the story and giving the characters a voice.

Harlow and Ryske

Harlow runs into Ryske as he is being chased and bleeding out. Right from the start i was pulled into this story when Harlow stood up to a bunch of guys with guns trying to protect Ryske. I love Harlow and how no matter what she always had some kind of comeback and how snarky she is. Then Ryske the flirtatious playboy con man. I didn't want to stop listening to this and then when you get to the ending I wasn't expecting it and it left me wanting to listen to the next part, so here is hoping it gets released soon.

A great beginning!

This is the first book I've read/listened to by Scarlett Finn. I loved it! Harlow runs into Ryske and saves his life, but changes her life forever. I was on edge the whole time listening, constantly surprised at the direction the story kept taking. Completely invested and crushed by the cliffhanger! So glad to be traveling so I could listen without pausing!

Elizabeth Russell is an excellent narrator. She does male and female voices well. She brought the audiobook to life with an emotional performance that had it rolling like a movie in my head. Perfection!

Action Packed!

This one is action packed from the word GO! I really loved the meet-cute! Such a different idea..then how she gets sucked into his life and his friends..it all happens so fast! While I like Ryske I think I liked his friends more! They really add alot to the story.

This is a good romantic suspense but my major problem is it ends in a cliffhanger. I usually try to avoid those because they are not my favorite. I should have known with the way the story was going but it got me and I was surprised since I was not paying attention to how much time was left. Oh well Bring on book 2!

I listened to this on audio. Elizabeth Russell does a wonderful job narrating this one!

The adventure and love in this book is breath taking!

Good girls are always attracted to bad boys!! The twists and turns in this book makes it an easy fast listen. I fell in love with the bad boy myself. Risk is a bad boy with a giant heart. Who couldn’t resist the sweet good girl Harlow! The ending was shocking and I need book 2 like now. I literally cried in this book!

Captivated me from the start ...

Captivated me from the start, and just kept drawing me down the rabbit hole. Fast-paced with constant intrigue with danger lurking around every corner it seems. Harlow and Ryske have this instant attraction when fate puts them in each other's path quite literally, but develop a push and pull relationship as Harlow attempts to keep him at arm's length. Every one can see what's between them, except them of course as they live in denial. Usually I'd get frustrated by the dragging out of their coming to terms, but the way it was written it kept my attention. Honestly I did wish we saw things from Ryske's perspective some. It's not first person, but comes from Harlow's personal points. But even so, again I was hooked. I can't give spoilers but it's an annoying cliffhanger, that Honestly tore me up. Now, if I didn't happen to have the 2nd book in ebook, and do a little skim cheating, I'd be ranting and raving over the end. But I calmed myself a little by sneaking ahead, because I'd be absolutely devastated otherwise. Narrator did a great job bringing it to life.

This is the first book in the Go Novel series. Harlow is new to town. She is a social worker trying to help anywhere she can. One night she bumps into a man running from something or someone. Ryske is a conman. Ryske is on the verge of bleeding out when he bumps into Harlow, but he still manages to try to seduce her with is flirty banter. Ryske and his three best friends are all criminals. They commit heist together. Ryske is the smooth talker and ladies' man. Harlow and Ryske instantly are drawn to each other. The only problem is, Ryske won't commit to her, because he doesn't want her to get hurt by his actions. This is a very fast paced book. I enjoyed every minute of this book. It ends on a CRAZY cliffhanger. I need to know what will happen next. Elizabeth Russell did a phenomenal job narrating this book.
