About this listen

Every betrayal begins with trust...

A lot has happened since the brutal attack that transformed Sasha Keleterina into one of the undead. She’s left Arsen and the Draugur vampires behind, but dealing with Niko and his advances almost sends her crawling back. Though Arsen continues to beg for her forgiveness, she’s still too raw from his betrayal to be near him.

When Jackson learns the truth about Sasha’s attack, Sasha is once again conflicted about where her loyalties lie and who her true friends are. The clock is ticking, and with an all-out war on the horizon, Sasha desperately fights to find a cure to save not just the vampires...but herself.

Who knew being a vampire would be so tough?

Great second book

I enjoyed this second book more than the first one. I love how sassy Sasha is and the mix of science with the supernatural. I still have so many questions especially about how Sasha will find the cure or if she will and if she doesn’t what’s going to happen. This book kept me on the edge of my seat a lot and I seriously want the next book to find out more about these characters. The narrator also did a fantastic job with the emotions and characters.

Great series

This was a good second book in which Sasha continues of her journey. Within this novel contains lots of great scenes that will keep you on edge. There was lots of details put in without being overly detailed that you get bored.

Narrator does a great job bringing each character to life. You can really picture the highs, lows and facial expressions with this narrator.

I got this book for free and these are my own honest thoughts on the book.

I love this series!

I had forgotten how much I love this series until I started listening to the audiobooks. I also forgot how much I hate Niko. He is such a twisted jerk! I love how Arsen and Sasha are finally starting to find their way to each other and that Jackson is able to help. The narrator has done an amazing job of bringing these characters to life and I cannot wait to see how she does the same for the last book in this series.

Awesome

The story continues and I loved it. You still don’t know who to trust, but it comes out in the end. But the end almost killed me, I have to know what happens next. I can’t wait for the next audiobook. The narrator did an awesome job and kept it funny in the appropriate spots. I love the way she did it with all the sarcasm in the appropriate places. This is another awesome story from D.D. Miers and Graceley Knox.

Who to side with....

Sasha has a hard time figuring out just what to do and where she stand in the whole new vampire world. She is working so hard to find a cure but it almost seems like someone is holding her back. And Sasha isn't the only one keeping a secret, will Jackson and her survive this new information. I feel like this book is the turning point in the series. When you look back you'll be saying yupp thats when it happened.
