I am writing this review from a new perspective

I am writing this review from a different perspective. I am retired and just recently started a new “Gig", actually I have two: one paid and one not paid as a volunteer. author,s book was very insightful and gave me ideas to think about going forward with both Gigs. Her exercises in the book are not only for the young. I feel I can utilize them as an older Gig worker. I will take her suggestions and implement them into my own situation. It’s never too late to start new things.

Great advice for successful freelancing

I highly recommend this book, especially for millennial looking to find identity and meaning in their jobs. I am a young professional working at a corporation (quite the opposite of gigging). My friends and I frequently discuss how to find work life balance and passion in our careers, but we are risk averse and unsure how to navigate life outside of the structure and stability the corporate world brings. Author maps out how to build a successful career in the gig economy. This book is practical and provides many steps and exercises to think about how you can build a career as a Gigger. She uses her experience from teaching and a wide array of real examples to validate her suggestions. I'm reevaluating my life after listening this!

A guide to a life I never considered for myself

As a young professional who has come to a fork in the road, The Gig Economy was an eye-opening read. For those unfamiliar or uncomfortable with the idea of the gig economy, the idea of custom-crafting your own path can be daunting. The author recognizes that there is no one-size-fits-all solution for listener,s and the exercises in the book -- meant to guide listeners to their own answers -- are both thoughtful and accessible. For so many of us who do not have personal role models to follow into the new world of the gig economy, author brings her own experience and expertise as well as the insights and experiences of so many more. The result is a book that will show you a wide range of possibilities and challenge you to make the choices and changes necessary to lead a more intentional, more fulfilled life of your own design. This is a book and an author that I will continue to come back to in the future.

There is a great deal with this book

This audiobook is a must-listen for anyone looking to grow their brand or business on Instagram. I have tried lots of time to create Social Media ads but I not get a better result.

A must listen for any working person

I bought this book thinking it was only for recent grads, but I was still curious. It turned out to be a fantastic listen that has made a significant change in my life. I lost the fear of being on my own and not having job security, and it opened my mind to a world of possibilities. While listening the book, the author suggested multiple revenue sources to build security. One of the ideas was to teach at a local college or university. So I did just that and in the fall I will be teaching my first course. I am excited to continue to apply what I learned in this book and I can say that it is for everyone. Work as you know it is changing, and there is a lot to be excited about.

This book provides a great way of instruction

Definite must-have if you are looking to be a powerful force on Instagram. I have learned so much from Instagram Marketing teachings and would recommend his audiobook to anyone.

Poor delivery

I found the reader to be too michamnical and so disconnected from the text he is reading making it very difficult to follow and digest. The content itself is OK but move away sometimes from the subject at hand. To me the value for money for this book is 2 out of 10.

i tried to follow the narrator through out the course of the audio book ..but failed everytime i tried.

Great for anyone trying to grow their business via Instagram. This is absolutely the best one. you will soar in your venture. This audible book was extremely instructive.
