Christ's heart for YOU revealed
In this life we see time and time again where patience runs out, where parents say "I picture God looking at me and saying, "Again? Really? Didn't you learn from the last 300 times that you did this?!'" We see where others have fallen short and where we have fallen short with our love of others, of God, and of ourselves. We want to know God loves us, and to some degree we know He does and believe that He does, but to what extent? I THOUGHT I knew Jesus
This book challenged or changed the perspective from which I look at almost teaching of Jesus ever.

How can He be so high and mighty and yet love even someone who’s heart is cold to Him as if He is the one blessed by our presence?!

So rich and moving!
From the emotional and spiritual profundity of the content, to the warm, well-paced performance of the reader, this read was far greater than the scores of great reviews I heard about it! I doubt many of my friends had the honor of listening to it read on audible, but boy did they miss out. Maybe it's my extroverted nature talking, but I highly recommend a listen to this even if you've read the book already.

This is a life-changing book
Gentle and Lowly is a book you will return to over and over. It can’t be absorbed in one reading or listen. I’ve never listened to a book that has affected me so deeply and given me such a new and deep understanding of Jesus our Lord and Savior.
