ALL the Action and Lulz !!

Thankfully this book on audio, because my frantic page turning on this installment would have been insane and left me with paper cuts galore. Wow, the story is heating up, I'm hooked, I have to know what happens to these characters!

Pirhalla's narration makes me feel as if I'm right there with them, I can see everything happening around me as I listen. I'm so invested because hearing their voices makes them that much more real. The Commissar voice is sooooo good! So much fun, one hell of a ride!

On par with Galaxy Edge maybe better

Great story line that is well developed with characters with depth. Ignore these low initial rated numbers because this series is on the level of Galaxy Edge and IMHO not many mil syfy come close to GE. Hope book six hits Audiable soon. Hope there is a follow on series. Don’t let these characters go to waste.

Well crap!

As I type this review, I do not see another book in this series on audible. :-( There is one book in print form on Amazon, but that is it. The good news is that it looks like according to the authors website, there will be more than just the six books. Who knows? I hope there will be more than six. Sadly, there is probably going to be a long wait before, another book in the series is on audible. The narrator is awesome. The Abner fortis ISMC books have the same narrator, and he slays it in everything he does. The series is finally picking up steam, however, I hope in later books he slows things down actually. there is a ton of room for characterization and back story that could happen. The five books so far could easily have been seven. Anyway, if you are reading this, then you are already invested in the series and would be silly to not listen to this book. However, hopefully you are reading it at a time where this book is, not the end of the series so far on audible. Semper Fi.

Best book of the series so far

John Pirhalla is one of the best narrators out there. He has taken this already great series to a whole new level. His character voices are amazing.
Frisbee beautifully weaves many storylines together in book 5. Brilliant and touching ending proves once again that this series is more than just a run of the mill military sci-fi. This should be a tv series.

Great listen

I think John Pirhalla is one of the best narrators for this style of an audiobook. William S Frisbee Jr keeps the story flowing between action and multiple storylines that make for a complex that never leaves you bored. John has brought this word to life. Now “Our” Marines are getting help, but tension is building even more. Can not wait for book 6!!!

Great book series!

Man I'm so glad I came across this author and this series. I've loved every book so far. Can't wait for book 6.
