Excellent plot and twists

This book was enthralling from the beginning to the end. The plot twists were superb. I’d you are looking for a twist psychological book I highly recommend this one!

Just the right length

I’ve listened to a lot of books that have decent storylines but are dragged out with a lot of unnecessary fillers. This book wasn’t as long, which kept the story, and my interest, moving. The twists were both unexpected and believable.

Not sure how I feel

Nicely written but I found it less believable and relatable than I had hoped. I felt like certain parts we’re wrapped up a bit too abruptly and neatly which left me feeling dissatisfied. Definitely not a masterpiece but allowed me to be busy while traveling long distance.

Just okay but nice narration

The narrator is wonderful but the story is somewhat slow and repetitive- I found myself wanting to fast forward some - it's a decent story that starts out great but ends up being not that interesting.

Worst Ending Ever

Talk about frustrating! Investing hours only to be assaulted on the last pages is just depressing. Hopefully there will be a follow-up

Surprise ending

Enjoyed the surprise ending. Never expected that. Very clever. Highly recommend. Love all her books. Marvelous.

Great storyline.. unexpected twists and turns..

Enjoyed the entire book! Couldn’t stop listening and loved the ending. Most books have weird endings but this one was great!

kept me engaged all the way to the end and right when I thought it was over it hit me with a surprise. A multi-cast with stories that bring it all together at the end. very good.

I didn’t figure this one out

I love that she led me everywhere but the solution Anita Waller is an amazing author who I have just discovered

The twist-I can usually figure out who did it by 1/2 to 2/3 through the story but this caught me completely off guard!

The twist at the end was superb-in fact, there were surprises throughout the entire story. This is the third book by this author I have listened to and I’ve not been disappointed. I will continue to follow her works. I am, however, growing weary of the social engineering in contemporary literature-not just her works, but many other newer authors as well. I expect to see it here and there as society is permeated with it but it seems to be in almost every single book I’ve read or listened to from the last 15 years or so. In all fairness, I believe it actually added to the story in this book, but that’s not always the case. Many times it adds nothing to the story and seems to be inserted just to make a statement and be edgy. Just my humble opinion.
