Publisher's summary

Delta Force operator Kolt Raynor must thwart a deadly terrorist plot in this globe-hopping special operations thriller in the New York Times best-selling series.

When SEAL Team Six killed Osama bin Laden, they pulled a treasure trove of intelligence on planned attacks on U.S. soil. Ayman al-Zawahiri, al Qaeda's new leader, is activating his most trusted (and deadliest) terrorists to carry out his newest plot: to detonate a bomb inside one of the 64 commercial nuclear power plants in the U.S. in an attack 10 times worse than 9/11, causing radiological fallout that would kill hundreds of thousands of innocent Americans.

The president wants answers quickly, and after Kolt Raynor saved his life a few months earlier, he knows Delta Force is fully capable. But Kolt is on the verge of getting forced out of JSOC for disobeying orders in Pakistan - and when he's offered a slot in Tungsten, an ultra-secret deep-cover organization, he jumps at the chance. Now his task is to infiltrate al Qaeda and prevent this deep-cover terror cell from making their plot a reality before it's too late. In Full Assault Mode, former Delta Force commander Dalton Fury takes listeners inside the world of undercover special operations - where every wrong step costs lives, and one minute might just be one minute too late....

Skip the Negative Reviews

If you are like me and love a great narrator like Ari Fliakos, and a fast paced adventure, then this author and narrator are for you.
Always check the source of a review eg: Shelly or Wayne as they are spot on. Critics are a dime a dozen, but people who know good pace and dialogue should be trusted.
No of the 3 stories this one does not top 1 & 2, but it certainly follows our hero’s accomplishments! I did stay up late into the night to finish this one and I was not disappointed. Yes the author seamlessly adds tidbits to each successive book, not enough to give away the story, but just enough to entice you get go back and get it, if you tend to read a series out of order like I do. I could not wait to report to all that the negativity from a few reviewers were not accurate at all. Yes I did manage to listen to book 4 before #3, but I was so compelled to get 3 as I found out author Major Tom, may he Rest In Peace passed when he was 52 yrs old died of cancer, and no one has yet to picked up the baton after 5 book Execute Authority. I am now going on to my last book to savor this last adventure. In this series, you Root for our people who serve and you certainly have a good feelings when the bad guys go up in flames.

Not a bad story.

this book has received mixed reviews from numerous readers. Most notable for gaps in the plot. In fact there are some gaps but not plot gaps, more like timeline gaps to cram the complicated story into the time alloted. it's a good story and enjoyable listen. my only complaint is the sporadically mispronunciation of military terms or locations by the narrator.

I'm liking it

like the narration, too. Some of the scenarios seem a bit of a stretch but it's entertainment. That and the fact that Fury has lived some of this .... maybe there's more truth than fiction. I hope Kolt keeps going.

Two for three, Still worth the listen.

As a stand alone book this is still a great read, however personally, I did not find it as good as his first two books. It’s understandable given the challenge of weaving in a new antagonist. I found his previous two books were far more captivating when Colt is pitted against a terrorist mastermind.

Missed the mark a little

Not quite there with the first two. Still very much worth the listen. Looking forward to number four.

Fun!

Exciting listen. I am on to the next right now! Mr. Fury, please contact me (audible folks: you have my permission to give Mr. Fury my information). I like how you consult with appropriate "experts" for your books. However, you missed one: me. Or any woman. Just an FYI: 2" a high heel does not make. Also, I'm pretty sure you used 2" once and 3" a different time. Nevertheless, 3" a high heel does not make! You also called a women's purse something odd as well. Both are SO manly men mistakes. Thus, free of charge, I am happy to be your women's fashion consultant for Cindy and any other women that may play a part in future books. :) Cheers and thank you!

One more thing: please come out with a 5th, 6th, 7th (and so on) book in the series ASAP!

I'm off to #4, and I really hope Mason gets kicked in the nads this book... with one of Cindy's 4.5" peep toe 1" platform stiletto pumps, perhaps followed up by a roundhouse swing of her Oxford gray crosshatch metal-footed large shoulder tote to his throat. 😉

A tad of hyper-realism

Although unbelievable in parts, and sometimes tedious- overall another excellent listen sprinkled with humor and grit. Worth all the time
