Publisher's summary

The stunning conclusion to this epic love story that began with Forgetting You, Forgetting Me from International Bestselling author, Monica James.

The truth sets you free...but what happens when everything you believe in changes in the blink of an eye?

All I ever wanted was for my fiancé, Samuel Stone, to remember me. And now that he does...all I want is for him to forget. Through tragedy, I found myself and who I was destined to become. But more importantly, I found who I was destined to be with.

With a single word, Saxon Stone changed my life forever. He taught me how to live again. But now that Samuel remembers and all secrets have been revealed, I’m left to wonder which life I’m meant to lead.

Divided by my head and my heart, I’m torn between duty and desire. Samuel is my past while Saxon is my forever. The choice should be easy.

But love never is…

DRAMA, EGO AND LESS THAN ALPHA MEN

This story has too much drama, actually not really drama so much as dramatic reactions to almost everything. Lucy is caught in a whirl wind of EGO. It's not that she thinks so much of herself it's that she's always thinking of herself. The entire story is about her thinking she can do something about everything and that everyone's problems are her fault. It got really old in the first book and even older in the second. Hard time finishing this one. At one point, for several days, did not want to listen to the rest of the story, even my curiosity didn't get the better of me. Then, I wanted to know who she chose to actually be in love with. Very odd story. Very odd narration. Not at all impressed. Hope this author learns more about life and writing and the narrator practices before she narrates another book. It was more of a narration and less of a performance. Again, not impressed.

Grab the tissue

This book got me in the feels. I literally had to stop painting my house to sit and cry big fat ugly tear, as I listened to this book. So freaking good. But make sure to read or listen to the first book before this one. Great duet

Oh My Freaking Epic!

This review is for both books. This is one of my all time favorite stories ever! I ugly cried so hard it is not even funny! I cannot begin to explain the how great of a love story this book is. The gamete of emotions that I went through was so incredible. I wish I had a love story as epic as this without all the tragedy of course.
Summer Morton was freaking amazing! This narration was one of the best ever. She did such an amazing job differentiating between all the voices it was uncanny.
Worth every freaking penny and should be made into a movie for sure.

It's a tear jerker at times and long winded

But, it's worth the read. The characters are moving, the plight heart wrenching and the over-all message is of love.

heart wrenching and painfully dragged out but a good tear jerker

This is book 2 of the duet and I feel so frustrated for Lucy...who has gone through so much in the first book...I felt that it didn’t have to drag but totally understand what it is like to fall out of love and be lied to and realized the love of your life. The choices one has to make when you realized you love someone else more but you have all the memories from the other love. Overall, a tear jerker which tugs at your heart all the way to the very end of the book...

Too Much

Ok, so he really died and was gone and because she cried over him, he came back. That was too much. It should have just been that he came out of the coma or something other than that unbelievable mess.

Not as good as the first book

This book was full of cliches and too melodramatic. It was cheesy at times too. This book claimed Saxon was always charismatic, but in book one he was a nervous nerd trying to imitate his brother with his way with girls. Did have some good story, but just too over the top for me.

Agonizingly Beautiful!!!

Oh wow Monica James is an amazing writer!!! This story went straight for the heart. It had heart reaching moments and then fierce loving and healing. I laughed, felt the sexy heat between Lucy & Saxon, and used a ton of tissues for the sad parts. WoW!!!
