What do you do when the love of your life forgets? Not the good times. Not the love. Not the passion. But the pain and heartbreak and betrayal.

He doesn't remember that he broke my heart. But I do.

He doesn't remember the darkest parts of our marriage. He doesn't remember that six months ago, I said goodbye.

What a great story. Yes it’s second chance with a cheating trope but I found the characters to a lot of growth in this story. The narrators did a great job getting the story across. This was a 5 star read for me and the spice did not disappoint.

Listened to this on audiobook and really liked the female narrator. The spice and dirty talk in this book was SO good! I enjoyed the story and plot and kept rooting for the couple throughout it. This book had a very good and accurate representation of trying to conceive struggles and the suffering of pregnancy loss like the feeling of being inadequate and mental toll it takes with both.

Great representation of TTC and pregnancy loss

I’m conflicted about this one
The story is a well done exploration of human nature and relationships but there were some points where it missed the mark
I was hard pressed to get the point of Wren’s dismissiveness about Olivia’s miscarriages and depression or what felt like unexplained hostility from Caroline. The interracial aspects were mentioned but… I did not get the feeling that Olivia was a Black woman- I suspect that having two non- Black narrators was a factor. I also just wanted to shake Olivia and tell her to climb out of the bottle and deal with her marriage like a darn adult!
Overall I think it is a good story if at times a bit repetitive and unrealistic. Kudos to the author for tackling hard issues like cheating, abandonment, miscarriage, depression and toxic relationships.

Complex Love Story

I love this book and can't wait to read more BWWM books by her! Trust when I tell you it's worth it! But be prepared to want to jump in and smack BOTH h/he at times LOL.

This book is worth it!!

The level of disrespect and insensitivity of Ren to Olivia is almost unbearable. Yes, two people are grieving over lost of a child. However for someone to interject their opinions into someone lost journey is pure nasty.

I did like how reconciliation happened. This was completely lead male fault. This was a couple fighting through their grief and not knowing how to navigate the journey alone, less only together.

kudos to the author for writing complex real to life characters.

As a woman who has lost babies

Bennett and Olivia were married until he has a ONS with a woman Amanda then he was in an accident and he forgets two years of his life thinking he was still with his wife. So they spend time together but it was both fault Olivia distance herself from her husband after she miscarry and he tried for her to get help she became close off depresses and he made one mistake because he felt alone. but when he remembers he hid it because he wanted to be with his wife.

So heart wrenching! I think I held my breath during this hoping there wouldn’t be an end to them. I loved both of the characters. This was a beautiful story.

Ugh, this kept my heart on pins and needles
