Recommended

Another winner for Ms. Brooks. There are so many in this series my expectations are really high. Yet she hasn't disappointed yet. I loved the new characters and revisiting previously introduced. Some of the Thoroughbreds come back in this one.

Now that we are getting more into the "younger brothers and sisters" I have to brush up on who belongs to whom doing what.

In the last couple stories there has been some information indicated not previously imparted. It makes me feel like I'm missing a story or something. While I haven't read all the SC stories I have read everything else. I guess I'm going to those now.

Eric G. Dove did another excellent job.

Great story. Dynamic narrator. Love the pairing of Eric and Kathleen’s Brooks’ stories. This one always makes me tear up.

Love the suspense mixed with romance

I love Kathleen Brooks books. Love to listen to Eric G Dove bring them to life as well. This book had the best suspense in one of Kathleen’s books since the original series. Love them all but this has to be a new favorite.

As always, Ms. Brooks ties the past novels into the present building a rich world with depth.

Another one falls in Keeneston!

I just love the Bluegrass Series! Each book and all the people of Keeneston find their way into your heart. They get better and better and now we have moved into the younger generation. This story centers around the young, handsome Doctor Jace Davies and the newcomer Stella Winters, who's just opened her own Gardening Center in the farmland of Keeneston. Jace has not had a date in some time and the whole town is in a betting frenzy about who, if, or when he'll break out of his rut or join the priesthood. Stella has moved to Keeneston to get away from an old boyfriend that is somewhat of a narcissus. Jace is taken with Stella upon first meeting her and the people of Keeneston are off with their next bet! There is someone who thinks Jace is not meant for Stella and wants him for herself although Jace has no idea. Stella and Jace face quite a few mishaps and have to figure out who their antagonist is and what they want.

As in all the books, the community of Keeneston comes together and saves one of their own. We get the appearance of our favorite family members and others that have made Keeneston home. Hell, I want to move there!

Yes, if you like the Bluegrass Series then this is one to add to your collection! Love them!!!!

Such an exciting story

So much excitement and suspense. I love the fact that we get to get to know a new person in every story, but also follow the old characters.
I feel like I know all the families and can feel like I’m there.
