About this listen
In the epic fourth audiobook of The Forsaken Saga, Nora comes face to face with the elders for the first time. With Hunter and the angels at her side, she will try to do that which no one has done: Destroy the elders and break their terrible reign of power.
But it will not be easy. The elders have held on to their posts since the first memories of the Vassiz. Will prophecy be enough to guide Nora against them?
If she succeeds, the world as she knows it will change forever. But if she does not, everyone she knows will suffer a terrible fate. She is determined, but there are hidden secrets that may yet prevent her from reaching her goals....

Abigail Swish's life is nothing to brag about: gang-ridden city, orphanage style accommodations, and a matron who's kinda on the evil side. Not that she has to worry about that for much longer. She'll turn 18 soon, and then it's goodbye compound, hello dangerous streets of New York City. Of course, as her luck would have it, she doesn't make it to 18 before her world is turned upside down. Death isn’t always the end. I was a soldier, fighting for the lives of the whole world, when I went and got myself obliterated by this magic alien monster. I figured that was it. Game over, done. But, then I woke up in a different body, in a strange world full of dust and ruins, with awesome martial arts skills I’d never had before. Not to mention a chi gift thing that seemed to work a lot like magic. And, there were these words seared into my brain like a motivational quote: You can save them. You can save all of them.

Having two of his fingers cut off at an early age hadn't done much to make Xandrith an agreeable fellow. Besides marking him as a pariah and having him shunned by even his own family, it had also hurt. A lot. Being stripped of a few of his fingers and cast out of the Order of Mages had left him bitter and angry, but if there was any consolation to be had it was that he was doing rather well in his new line of work. While perforating people for money might not have been the most noble of callings, it was quite lucrative.

Story
In the endless forests of the Wild, humanity scratches a living by the side of the great Godroads, paths of crystal that provide safe passage and hold back the infernal tide. Creatures lurk within the trees, watching, and plucking those who stray too far from safety. In crystal castles held aloft on magical currents, seven timeless royal families reign, protecting humanity from the spread of the Wild and its demons. Born and reborn into flawless bodies, the Deathless are as immortal as the precious stones from which they take their names. For generations a fragile balance has held.

Story
Udo's biggest problem isn't being a digger (that's low class), or staying drunk (that's damn expensive), or avoiding the Dwergaz (they're monsters), or even pissing off the supposed Gods. It's that his reality...well, it isn't what he thought. And now, he can't even afford to drink because his so-called friend Nicz is cutting into his business, digging up tin, iron, and copper. So Udo forms a new plan: clay. After all, clay jars are used to store everything: meat, herbs, and, his personal favorite, ale.

Some cryptic words wake college student Jess Ballard from a terrifying dream into an even more terrifying reality. Jess’ life has never been what anyone would call easy; doing damage control in the wake of your nomadic, alcoholic mother doesn't exactly make for a storybook childhood. But now, her world has fallen apart just when it should be coming together: her mother gone—dead under mysterious circumstances; her life uprooted to stay with estranged relatives she’s never met; and there’s something odd about some of the people she’s been meeting at school: They’re dead.

Exciting and Satisfying Conclusion to Forsaken Saga!
Foretold by Sophia Sharp is the final book in the Forsaken Quartet, and is a fitting conclusion to this action adventure fantasy. Nora and Hunter, Alexander and Morgan, and 4 of the Angels have a showdown with the 8 Elders in the Dreamworld with one purpose in mind - to destroy the Elders and put an end to their corrupted leadership over the Vassiz. Thankfully this book brings many characters and issues full circle and explains all unanswered questions left from the first three books, including Nora's true parentage.
As with the other books in the series, Pam Lorence narrated and did an outstanding job! She had different voices for each character, all of which were very believable. She also portrayed action sequences in an exciting and exhilarating way without becoming shrill. Pam's narration definitely contributed to my enjoyment of this book, as well as the entire series. Highly recommended!

Great plot twist
I didn't really like the narrator. The story was great despite it. The ending was great and gave me a Wow moment!!
