About this listen

What do you do when you want the one person you can never have?

Get in and get out. That was India Robidoux’s plan for this family visit. But when her brother needs her help with his high-profile political campaign, India has no choice but to stay and face the one man she’s been running from for years - Travis, her sister’s ex-husband. One hot summer night when Travis was still free, they celebrated her birthday with whiskey and an unforgettable kiss. The memory is as strong as ever - and so are the feelings she’s tried so hard to forget.

Travis Strickland owes everything to the Robidoux family. There’s nothing he wouldn’t do for them - his divorce could never change that. Still, he has one regret. Impulsive and passionate, India always understood him better than anyone else. And the longer they work together on the campaign, the more torn he is. Coming between her and her sister is out of the question. But how can he let love pass him by a second time?

Forbidden Promises

Very clique and predictable but caring and suspenseful in its own right It’s appropriate for anyone over 14 years old and older

Storyline is on time...

I really enjoyed the plot of this book. The narration was very distracting to the storyline. I waned to stop listening because of the horrible southern accents but I had to know what was going to happen! Great book if you can get past the awful 😖 accents.

Start it out slow

It’s not that a little slow and I was going to stop listening, but I decided to give it another shot and I found out I really enjoy the whole book.

Sweet

I started listening to this series completely out of order but I have enjoyed each story. It was sweet how India and Travis got to their Happily Ever After. Now that I've finished books one and two, I'm going to listen to book three again. I can't wait to listen to Allaina's story again and root for her to find some happiness and let someone love her.

This Story Was OK

This story was a shit show! This was absolutely too messy for me....The Father in the story Grant Robidoux, the cousin Ashea Walters both got on my last nerve....this was a really weird story of a younger sister (India) being in love with her older sister's (Allana) ex-husband (Travis) who is also the best friend of their brother Byron (Book 2 is about him).....The Father of the 3 Robidoux Children was having an affair with the family cook while their mother was dying from cancer...so that father was someone I didn't like from the beginning....

This Book Exhausted my Patience....

But in a good way. The father is the biggest, most arrogant hypocrite...that is all.
