About this listen

Discover an alternate history to the human race as the authors of Forbidden Archeology challenge one of the most fundamental components of the modern scientific world view. Michael Cremo and Richard Thompson discuss the work of researchers who, over the past 2 centuries, have found bones and artifacts showing that people like ourselves existed on earth millions of years ago. They explain how the scientific establishment has ignored these remarkable facts because they contradict the dominant views of human origins and antiquity.

Fascinating science

An impressive, thorough discussion of the history of hominid archeology. unfortunately the presenter speaks too rapidly.

Forbidden Archeology

I did not enjoy the monotone narration. There was no pause between facts which made it hard to follow and listen to.

Totally Truncated

An abbreviated version of a shortened book, not audibly worthy… Buy the Book! Adding that you may as well get Forbidden Archeology, as you’ll just want more after The Hidden History of the Human Race. Bang for the buck the references are worth the purchase, my $.02.

Real Science

This is a great book that challenges the establishment and the politics of science. Science has always been handicapped by the overbearing personalities trying to keep their theories alive for personal gain. This book is not only a good source of information but an interesting point of view on the politics of science. It’s good to keep this perspective in mind when debating current hot topic science/political issues like Global warming and Evolution.

So so

narrator sounded muffled and there are plenty of other books that cover the same sort of information that are much easier to follow.

interesting read, tons of potential evidence

really interesting book, short enough to start the case, plausible enough to think more about.

Interesting

This book makes some interesting points but it would be better if you had the written version so you could check the sources. There are a lot of sources. It reminds us of a lesson that all sciences should pay attention to. Don't get locked into a particular interpretation of the facts. Leave room for further discoveries. Seems obvious but apparently it still happens all the time. And not just in archeology.
The audio quality is not as good as other audible books. I have to adjust the speakers in my vehicle to hear the woman's voice over road noise. And as other reviewers have noted she does a poor job of reading. She sounds like a spokesperson for a large bank. She must be getting paid by the hour, she seems to be in a hurry to get through it.
Audio is disconcerting but the information is still worth it.

Eye opening research

Science and religion seem to be partners in hiding information. Excellent resource material. Needs pictures

Summary of the book

Loved the short summary of the book, but would really love to have the full book read as an audiobook.

This is like entre to a sophisticated dinner. 😁

la forma en entrelaza los diferentes boletines científicos es fascinante

me gustaría que incluyera registros más modernos y información más actualizada
la forma de entrelazar hechos del autot es muy elocuente
estará categorizado como pseudociencia cuando es historia de la humanidad
