About this listen

The starship Freedom. The hope of mankind. The defender of Earth.

Under the leadership of James “Bulldog” King, the Freedom won battle after battle. Yet now Freedom faces her most terrifying foe.

Not an alien fleet. Not a charging armada. But one ship.

Nobody knows where the Tyranny came from. Nobody knows who pilots this mechanical terror. She emerged from the darkness like a demon from hell. And she craves the blood of men.

She is larger than the Freedom. Faster. Deadlier. Marooned in deep space, the Freedom must face her alone.

A great duel begins. Two starships. Two captains. Two iron wills. Only one ship will survive.

It’s a bit classic in so many ways . I enjoy the whole story line and am looking forward to the next audio . I do wonder why one book was skipped in audio ?

Fantastic series

This audiobook explores feelings as well as physical attributes and failings. Anyone can despair and anyone can bounce back. It’s called humanity.

Humanity

Stuck in another galaxy. Beat the hell up. Half her weapons gone. Half her crew gone. Very rough book for Jim King but it needed to be done. The defeat should humble him and make him better at the fight. I loved the book. Not much Emily in this one but that’s ok. I figure she will be pivotal to the next as she searches for the aliens (sorry had no idea how the spell them.) I look forward to the story continuing

Well damn!

Please kill off Stowie-I can’t take much more! The idea of comedy relief fails with this pathetic character.

Great improvement on the Rah with the new alien hybrids

I love this series. The first three books were incredible enjoyed every minute. This one however I expected a bit more but maybe it’s a build up to the next book. Because all that really happened was them getting beat up over and over again. I will be getting the next book and hopefully it resumes it’s intriguing path that I grew to love

Expected a bit more bud…

Just when you think you have an author figured out

Nope

Amazing

One the worst books I have ever listened too.
The worst characters, the worst narration and the author has absolutely no clue of military rank structure.
Multiple ranks with equal status from different services all in one service. Entirely unbelievable.

Don’t waste the credit

compared to book one this is awful. obviously has sold out for profit. shame

downhill every book

To many repeats of sentences to many speeches. It's like author was stretching the story because he got paid for so many words.Ive listened to worse stories

so/so

I just finished book four, so I must be vested, but C'MON... OCCASIONALLY, one needs a little HOPE! .... SOMETHING, A GLIMMER, A SPECK, of anything to be good. Without vision, thy people perish.... and so do readers. It cannot be healthy to spend this many hours with my guts in a knot!

An Exercise in Frustration
