La hermana de Flanagan y su novio han desaparecido. Parece que ambos han traicionado a una ONG, robando una enorme suma de dinero destinada a un país del Tercer Mundo devastado por la guerra y por una epidemia.
Flanagan no puede creer esta versión de los hechos, pero dentro de la ONG hay un "topo" y alguien tiene interés en que el dinero no llegue a ese país. Se ven envueltos en el robo de una enorme suma dinero a una ONG. Flanagan decide ir a Madrid a encontrarla. Durante el camino encuentra a Bruna, una chica pelirroja que se ha escapado de casa.
