Intriguing & Sweet

If there’s a deeper spiritual meaning, it got past me. Just a nice romance with supernatural seasoning made most enjoyable by the stellar, gifted narrator.

Surprising twist, but I loved it!

Love the clean story with a great lineup of characters. Enjoyed learning about other times and places.

Very interesting premise and that premise handled well.

Liked it all, Asha and Dino and their conflicting goals. The ambiguity of Lucius. I liked Jessica.

Disappointed!

I have loved everything else Davis Bunn has written but this was terrible. The narrator was mediocre. Skip this one.

Not what I expected

Miramar Bay, first book in this series, was a true love story. I expected the same from this second book in the series. Sylvie and Conner are finally mentioned and part of this book is set in Miramar Bay. Otherwise, there is little connection to the first book.
I found this story a bit tedious. It did end with all the pieces fit together.
I really liked reading about the old cars.

Dull and boring

I wish they’d take it off my library, because I am never gonna listen to it again. I actually didn’t finish it the first time.
