Needing a change of scene, Griffin Burke moves from Brisbane to Coolum Beach to start a new job. The beautiful white sand, aqua-colored ocean, blue skies, and summer breezes are everything he longs for. What he finds is a mud-covered dog, lost and hungry, with a name tag and a phone number.

Dane Hughes is stuck in Surfers Paradise at a week-long work conference when he gets a phone call from his distraught mother. His dog, his fur baby, Wicket, has run away. Unable to leave and feeling helpless and miserable, he gets a text from a guy. "I think I found your dog..."

Griffin and Dane start talking, and Griffin agrees to look after Wicket until Dane can collect him. With a few days left before his new job starts, Griffin takes Wicket on some coastal adventures and sends Dane photos of their fun, and so the start of something new and kind of wonderful begins.

Griffin might have moved to Coolum in search of a new life, but what he finds is so much more. What he gets to keep just might take some four-legged help.

Puppy love

A love story involving two hot guys a fantastic meet cute involving a lost puppy and love so much love. This is a story that you can just sit back laugh and smile. You will not be sorry.

A sweet story.

It’s hard to imagine two more shy people than the main characters and therein lies the story’s biggest hurdle which is handled by effective dialogue and believable character development.

Excellent story!

Was on the fence about buying this, but glad that I did. A great stranger to lover story without all the angst. Well written story of how two strangers navigate the beginnings of a relationship and when is the right time to tell someone you love them.

Sweet summer story.

I love N.R. Walker and her broad variety of books. This is a good story if you like no angst and a very high sap factor. Well written but be careful you don’t get a toothache.

Adorable!!!

Pot brownies, adorable sidekick dog and hilarious dialogue. This book has it all and then some. So happy to see more M/M romance books, this story is another great one that I’ll be rereading in the future!

Sweet, sweet, sweet. If you are a dog lover, push this to the top of your TBR!

Dane's dog is lost while he's away at a conference and the little guy is found by Griffin miles away from where the dog was last seen. Fortunately, Dane's phone number is on the tag and when Griffin reaches out, their journey to happiness begins.

The story is smooth and easy, lots of dog action, lots of good times together by phone and in person and a strong attraction right from the beginning.

Having a down day? Pick this up and you will feel better as soon as you start.

Sweet story

This was a sweet, no angst, insta-love story. Had some good sexy times. Overall very happy with this book. Joel Leslie's narration was amazing. His accents are on point.

So sweet and cute!

I adored this book when it came out, so I knew this was an audio I had to have. Joel Leslie is one of my favorite narrators and he did an amazing job with Griffin, Dane and Wicked’s story! This was such a feel good story, I fell for these characters right away! This narration was perfect for my drive home from GRL and it kept me smiling the whole way. If you love a good feel good story with a lost pup, who finds his Master’s perfect match then this is the listen for you!
