I really really enjoyed it 

I loved the relationship that Laura and Charlotte had I really loved how her and Alec reconnected even though they had that miscommunication part I love how amazing of a mom she is overall it was a very amazing book. Definitely recommend!!

Still in Aww…

I read this book before it came out in Audiobook and had to get the audiobook to listen to it again.. it was just as good as reading it the first time. I love Alec and Laura’s story 🤍🤍

3 ⭐️ book - 4 ⭐️ Narrators

Ahhh I’m so sad I didn’t love it.
Don’t get me wrong the tropes are amazing, the angst at the beginning was strong and the story line is a good one but it drags on for so long I had to speed up the audio to 1.4 where I am normally at a 1.2.
I was irritated at Laura, the way she doesn’t contact him except with his letter is so disappointing, it made Alec lose so much time with his son. And then to turn around and just break up with him because of the coach when Alec now has a child he doesn’t want to just abandon again. I loved Alec tho! He was going after her and not playing games.
I absolutely loved the narrators, Laura has a beautiful voice and I will be searching for new books narrated by Gabriel because his voice was amazing too. I will continue on with this series and follow along with the other characters in this book just this one wasn’t a favorite of mine.

No resolution!

No resolution about the letter! His mom hid it and he knows and confronts her but at the end he says he doesn’t know what happened to the letter. Big plot hole

do you really need to make 5 yo gay???

Started out really good. But then to throw in 5 year olds that are gay is disgusting. In an adult romance novel, well in any book, that is uncalled for. I will not read any book by this author ever again, and will tell anyone who asks as well. Stick to the adult relationships and if you are going to throw in something as disgusting as what you have in this book, you should let that out in the trigger warnings. I marked this as as read, because I stopped listening, so that I could leave this review.
