About this listen

The Air Force played an important part in World War I. It included those who went up in balloons to gather intelligence. The planes were death traps; guns jammed and engines died all the time. Flyers were routinely captured and exchanged between the enemies.

Evan's Review

Good book of you American History and World War 1. It was amazing how these pilots were able to fly these early planes on a shoe string. Also how there was a sense chervery amont the pilots.
