Great Narration and Book!

The narration for this book is well done and easy to listen too. The female narrator is smooth and switches between characters easily. The male narrator has the perfect gravel and rumble and his "female" voices were amusing. I've listened to other books and struggled with the narration, but that was not the case with this one.

The story focuses on Brielle who struggles with her wolf and believes she has an extremely weak one. Kane is an alpha and not happy about the forced mating gathering. What ensues is a combination of magic, mystery and challenges.

I read the book several months ago and loved it and enjoyed listening to it just as much. I'm off to read the second book as we wait for the third book to be released. Check this out, I think you'll love it!

Not a real standalone.

The narrators were really good. The story was good as well. The problem that I had with this book was that there are several side plots that don’t get resolved and a lot of them are very important. This book is not a stand alone if more than romance matters to you.

I should’ve read it

It was a good story but I couldn’t get into it because I didn’t like the narrators at all. I think Jo would’ve enjoyed it more if I read it.

Very sensual!

I love this story! However, when it was the Males POV, and they did the girls voice, it sounded like a gay guy doing her voice. It sounded just really weird. But the story was awesome and I will be reading the rest of them!

Book & Audio Review

picy, suspenseful, and utterly captivating! Kane and Brielle’s chemistry steamed right off the page—it was palpable and had me hooked from the start. The fated mates trope was everything I needed, and Kane’s possessive nature? Swoon. Add in some strong girl-power friendships, and this story hit all the right notes.

The audiobook? Just as fantastic! If you're into paranormal romance with steam, suspense, and a touch of magic, this one’s a must-read.
