Gimmiky
Pretty much not believable from start to finish. So unlike JMD. Dalgliesh is one of my favs, and as an artist myself I appreciate him trying his hand at a different kind of story, but this is a miss.

Mystery Thriller
How I love mystery, suspense & thrillers. I’ve been in a book slump lately, but this truly got me out of it.
Kelley is a Doctor who takes a job on a small town in Scotland. Every good super thriller takes place in Scotland, I’m sure of it. Kelley is extremely protective of her daughter Lauren, and will stop at nothing to keep her safe. But will she commit murder?
I thought I figured out the ending, and I was pretty proud that I was half right. But I do love the twists and turns thrown throughout.
