A Must Listen

The narration of this book is so hot. The story itself is fantastic. When you add in the voices of Tor Thom and Charley Ongel, it just doesn't get much better. I can't wait to read/listen to more books by Elaine Marie. The next book I listen to will be narrated by these two.

Protecting Each Other

Danica Leroux has just received a plum assignment as the personal bodyguard to Hunter Ford, world famous actor and heartthrob. He has been getting threats and his manager looks to the police for help. Danica can see where the holes are in his security system so she's going to move in until the danger has passed. For two people who think they don't need or want anybody in their lives, the attraction is immediate and strong. So much happens in a short space of time and Elaine Marie writes a tightly-woven plot with wholly-defined characters. Stubborn pride and misunderstandings threaten to get in the way of their feelings, as well as the safety of them both. This is a wonderful story with a pace that holds from the first line to the last.
Tor Thom and Charley Ongel are once again magnificent in their narration. The delivery is striking with clear inflection in each of the characters, making it easy to know exactly who is speaking. Tor and Charley truly bring this story to life!

Great Narration

This is my first book by Elaine Marie and I enjoyed it. Danica, the herione and Hunter, the hero, have great chemistry in this book. Tor Thom and Charley Ongel did an excellent job with the narration which makes this book so nice to listen to. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Fabulous Story & Narration🎧 Enjoyable & Heartfelt!

This novella sized book packs a lot of story and I loved everything about it, from Elaine Marie’s wonderful writing style to the characters and storylines she created. The story grabbed my attention right from the start and held it straight thru to the end. The characters are likable and nicely developed, I adored Danika Laroux, her strength, confidence, and her quick wit. She takes her job very seriously, her new assignment is Hunter Ford, an actor who has received threats. A lot goes on in this book, I loved how well plotted it is and how it all plays out. There is never a dull moment and has plenty of drama, angst, some great humor, twists, thrilling suspense that brings you to the edge of your seat and some hot romance. I thought it was great that it was a female bodyguard and a male client, not something you see very often, so kudos to the author for her originality and making it real. Thank you Elaine Marie for another awesome story!

I listened to the Audible version, narrated by the talented Tor Thom & Charley Ongel. They are awesome voice artists. They bring these characters to life, give each their own voice and personality. You can hear how much heart they put into their work as they project the emotions of the characters into their performance. You can also hear the chemistry between them, it reflects in their performance as well. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen🎧

Enjoyable

This is my first Audible book I've listened to and Elaine Marie is a new to me author. I enjoyed listening to the story, and I liked the female narrator, she was perfect at making Danika a spitfire. The male narrator had a bit of a range for his narrative but didn't overly impress me. I'll have to see if maybe another book with him is better.

Falling for the Dare

I love it when the heroine is the one to save the day! This book is definitely an insta love book but it has a bit of suspense and action sneaking its way in as well. Definitely a great book all around!

Not a fan of Danica- unprofessional on the job

Danica is a bodyguard for Hunter in this story- nice twist! Danica is smart, but full to overflowing with snark and highly oversexed like a horny teenage boy, which I found unnecessary and unattractive! No need to overact like a tease and sleeze on the job!!!! Hunter is the typical macho man. Danica was ambiguous and liked her own double standards. Smh! I enjoyed the male narrator but felt the female narrator didn't feel like a good fit for this story imo. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review.

Suspenseful and hot

Elaine Marie is a relatively new author to me, however I have listened to both of the narrators Tor Thom and Charley Ongel before.
This was a quick, spicy listen with humour, misunderstandings and some danger thrown into the mix. The chemistry between Danica and Hunter off the charts and both Tor Thom and Charley Ongel portrayed this with a great deal of emotion and passion which really brought the story to life for me.
