Most excellent could be a devotional
Bill has outdone many others in his writings. This book could be used as a 5 minute devotional. The narrator is ok. Part of Bill’s charm is his ability to pause for effectiveness and ponder ability. I guess that’s also why I like that it’s written in 5 minute chapters. This is definitely a book to read and reread over and over. I’m thinking of ordering the hard copy.

Challenging in all the right ways.
Bill Johnson stretches me, but I have yet to hear him say anything that doesn't come straight from scripture. The way he thinks challenges me to actually know God instead of know ABOUT God. His books are not for lukewarm Christians. They are for people with grit and guts who want to push aside doubt and fear and experience God in all his wonder.
