Do not like using credits on abridged books.

Want the whole unabridged book. Wasted credit for 1/2 of book. What a waste of money/credits0

Good Read

The story line was excellent. I loved the narrator. She sounded like what I expected the characters to sound like. The pace of the story was just right. I will read more from this author.

Regular reader better

This reader is not appropriate for the joanna Brady series. Consistency in performance is recommended but if that's impossible a reader should at least be familiar with the way to pronounce proper names.

j a jance does it again

well balanced. There is sufficient of Joanna's life, love and joy to offset her case's horrors.

Exit Wounds

JA Jance writes stories that, although fiction, depict real life. At times a narrator can take something away from a story, but if the listener takes to the storyline rather than just the narrator, the listener will come to the realization this is real life.

Interesting & Intriguing

The narrator demonstrated the emotions of the interesting and intriguing story. At times some of thr relationships were a little complex.

Performance

Don’t like the reader. She doesn’t fit the story type and doesn’t pronounce names correctly.

Poor narration

The narrator had a very bland voice, miss pronounced words and names and often times sounded like she had a mouth full of marbles. I was tempted to quit listening in the first chapter but I had listened to all the previous books and enjoyed them so struggled on. I certainly hope C J Crites is back for the next book!

Good Read

I much prefer unabridged books. J.A. Jance always writes a good story with great characters and lots of action. It would be a good idea when books about the Southwest that the reader can pronounce the Spanish names correctly.

Must be abridged

Jance's unabridged novels don't leave loose ends; this novel ends with way too many loose ends. Disappointed to say the least. Also would appreciate fewer narrator changes.
