An unexpected delight

Following India Knight’s nudge to read this book in her Sunday Times column, I tried it. What a wonderful performance of this delightful book. Funny with dry humour, kind, caring, empathetic, and a mystery to unravel, what should be a sad subject was completely uplifting. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Light Crime Storyline with Endearing characters

What an awesome book! I took a chance as this is not an author I have read before and have not regretted the purchase. I could not stop listening to this and am now bereft that it’s over.😀
The characters are endearing and and the narrator brought them to life. Excellent and absorbing storyline. I will certainly be looking out for other novels by this author. This is highly recommended and I will be buying hard copies of this to hand out to friends.

Not for me

Very sad not funny at all. Did not like the topic or the book. Writing and narration are ok.

Good Book - Terrible Narration of Female Voices

The narrator's female voices are woeful. Makes the book unlistenable. I returned it and read on Kindle instead.
