Powerful Pathos Appeal

Well researched. Many compelling stories. Would have liked to hear him address cases of repeat murderers after incarceration (murdering while in maximum security).

Life changing information

Valuable information but now makes me want to hear Shane’s new book on this topic. I wonder if he believes things got better or worse since this writing. I enjoyed the narrators easy southern accent. I felt like I was listening to Shane himself.

Wonderful and Complete

Shane writes what may be one of the best books I've read since his own "Jesus for President." He continues in his prophetic role and boldly goes into hot topic territory, bringing both Biblical and historical research as well as story after story to illustrate the importance of life, justice, grace and forgiveness. I rarely feel changed or empowered after reading a book, but Shane somehow pulls it off every time, leaving me with beautiful, holy conviction.

Great book, not narrator

The information included was helpful, but the narrator's reading sounded affected and contrived. This is important information that needs to be out there.

Must listen for anyone wrestling with or not wrestling with the morality of the death penalty.

Once again Shane Claiborne brings insightful and devotional words to the page. I would encourage all people to take the time to reflect on this most important topic. See all participants as human and seek to abolish killing to prove killing wrong.
