In late-twenty-first-century Australia, Tao-Yi and her partner Navin spend most of their time inside an immersive, consumerist virtual reality called Gaia. For most of the book it felt both too much and not enough. Very meandering until people start uploading and then it seems like things start to happen and the book has a point.
So 4 stars for the last part and 1 to 2 for most of it. Had I not paid for it, I would have DNFd.
