About this listen

Thousands have checked into the Infinity Hotel over the years. None of them have ever checked out. Peter Childress and Charlie Womack are successful engineers on their way to Phoenix for an important presentation. But one of Charlie's infamous shortcuts has gotten them good and lost once again. As night falls, the pair stumble across the Infinity Hotel and the promise of a meal, fuel and a good night's sleep before starting off fresh in the morning is too good to pass up.

But while Charlie immediately takes to the hotel's amazing amenities, Peter begins to uncover some of the hotel's dark secrets, a seemingly unlimited number of floors, guests that appear out of time and place and a next morning that never seems to come. Worse still, the entrance to the Infinity has disappeared and no other apparent exit back to the outside world is in sight.

Now, under the watchful eyes of the hotel's manager and front desk clerk, Peter searches for a way back out and uncovers the horrible truth behind the mystery of the Infinity Hotel.

Richard Paolinelli's award-winning sci-fi thriller is expertly brought to life by narrator A.W. Miller.

Wonderful book!

I started reading this with expectations of one things but it turned out I was wrong.

The story is heartfelt and a lovely progression to a remarkable ending.

A.W. Miller does a terrific narration that brings the characters to life!

An interesting take on alien abduction

A realistic and identifiable main character who has to overcome a series of challenges to save the world. An old theme with some awesome sci fi twists. The challenges are unique, the aliens oddly human (and multifaceted). There is action, romance, and redemption.

I really enjoyed this book. I’ve been averaging about 1 per day this year because of covid... and this stands out as one of the best.

I received this audiobook for free in exchange for a review.

Slow start, but worth it

Gene Roddenberry fans would enjoy this book. This isn't genre fiction, which was refreshing. It did start slow, but genuinely pulled me in by the third chapter.

Original, Well Written, Science Fiction

Original and well written,Escaping Infinity catches your attention right from the beginning and keeps you engaged for the whole audio. The narrator did an excellent job distinguishing the characters, with his narration adding to an excellent story. The novel had a similar style to Isaac Asimov’s works of the 1950’s and 60’s.

Beautiful and entertaining!

This was one of my favorite books! Adam and eve all over again but with a power to speed the process of civilization up! However the story started with a completely different twist! A must read!

Refreshingly different - Just what I needed!

I needed something to listen to this week while I work, used my Kindle app to find companion audiobooks to my kindle books, and saw that Escaping Infinity was available. I'm glad that I checked!

My job involves travel and long drives each week, and long periods testing and calibrating precision electronics. Having a good audiobook to listen to keeps me sane, and i listen to a lot of them. What I particularly enjoyed about Escaping Infinity is that it's very different from most Sci Fi books I "read" via Audible. I was looking for something different but very good, and Escaping Infinity delivered.
