Amazing
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
As a never had a relationship 20-something, who has never been in a sexual relationship, I found all of the episodes enlightening. It has helped me to see that not all romantic relationships are equal; if one has not dealt with their demons it can invade the relationship. These audible originals are helping me to see that all relationships begin with communication. It's amazing!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Ep. 4: The Addict?
A memorable moment of this episode is when the husband admitted that he had been living a lie for 41 years.
What does the narrator bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The voices is what the narrator brings the story to life. When reading a book, I construct my own ideas, voices, and characters, that I see. With the individuals talking, I get to hear their voices and understand their pain.
What insight do you think you’ll apply from Ep. 4: The Addict?
The insight for is that the adage, "To thine own self be true" is very real and living a lie, can destroy a family. It sounded like his wife and children, fell in love with someone who was not their true self. It's nice to know that I am in therapy struggling with being true to myself, which is a form of self love. The sooner I can come to that place of self-acceptance, the happier and more satisfied my life will be.

Beautiful, it resembles my life so closely.
After having a similar upbringing, I find myself struggling with a different addiction, but nevertheless, the damage was done. I wish I could say my marriage was saved, but it wasn't.

Roller Coaster
This unfolds and goes up and down so crazy. I love the way things slowly transform to bring things to light and make them more visible to each person and the deeper reasons behind every action or occurrence.

Very emotional
Very thought provoking session. I thought the therapist did an amazing job working with this couple who had to deal with one of the toughest things: long term sex addiction/infidelity of one of the partners. I greatly enjoyed listening to it

Captivating
Absolutely captivating conversation/intervention that was carried out.Rightly summarised at the end, all marital relations need touch and words, some times one over the other.
