Mo Willems is a household name to any parents who have had to endure innumerable readings and re-readings of Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, Knuffle Bunny, or any of his other colorful kids books. Given the pantheon of cartoon animal characters that populate his bibliography, it's not a total surprise to hear that Mo started out in animation before settling into a writing position on a famous children's TV show.
