[Contains explicit content] Dana Gould (Stan Against Evil, The Simpsons) is a comedian of note, sometimes credited as the progenitor of alternative comedy, but anyone who has heard his act or his podcast, knows that he's big into horror and sci-fi movies. Before The Room and Troll 2, Plan 9 from Outer Space was the most famous so-bad-it's-good movie, and in addition to being a fan of the film, Dana has a direct connection to the legendary stinker: he befriended TV host and Plan 9 star Vampira late in her life. So late, in fact, that Dana had the morbid honor of planning her funeral. Eugene Mirman crept out of his crypt to do a little post-mortem on Dana's tale of woe (told to the fine boils and ghouls at a RISK! show) and keep Vampira's peculiar charm alive on this spooky episode of Hold On with Eugene Mirman... from beyond the grave!
