Testimonio de los últimos destellos de su grandeza
"En agosto nos vemos" fue noticia hace muchos años de la próxima novela de Gabriel García Márquez que pensamos ya nunca poder leer debido a su aparente abandono por parte del escritor. Se valora el esfuerzo del editor y sus hijos en recuperar esta historia y poderla compartir, así no sea una de sus mejores obras, es un último recuerdo de la brillantez de su narrativa, es en si, testimonio de los últimos destellos de su grandeza.

Exquisite
The story as described has some little inconsistencies, but perfectly understandable, I’m glad this was published, our Gabo even in his last days, going through his illness, was able to put together this delightful story, thank you, for the hours expended in a foreign island.
