Thus begins Elizabeth's Reply...
Darcy receives an astonishing letter from Elizabeth about a month after the dreadful Hunsford proposal—and though she reveals she has changed her opinions, it's hardly a declaration of undying love. Thus, he keeps the letter close to his heart but gradually accepts the reality that nothing will change. But when he meets Elizabeth on the grounds of Pemberley a few months later, he realizes he may have a chance yet—and he'd be a fool not to take it.
Elizabeth is mortified that she never received a reply to her letter, so she gradually accepts that he must find her to be horribly improper, and she is less than enthused to be touring Pemberley. She realizes, of all this, she could have been mistress—and then she runs into none other than Darcy himself.
Will Elizabeth find the courage to reveal her true feelings, and will Darcy be brave enough to pursue her once again?
