A New York publishing giant publishes Al Jordan’s book Doorway to Thol which becomes an international best seller.

US Government agents read it. They take Al into custody to grill him about the portal at Coronado Beach in California.
While Al sticks to the story that the book is make-believe out of his wild imagination, the agents aren’t buying it—they know all about Greg Claymore. They send the army, a team of scientists and physicists to the beach.

Unfortunately, the government agents, scientists and physicists open a portal, but not to Thol. An alien race breaks through the portal. The government implores Al to contact D’laine for help.

Once again, D’laine uses her powers to save a world from destruction. Instead of thanking her, the US government tries to take her into custody. They want to use D’laine’s powers for their own greed.
