Entre Madame Rosa et Momo, c'est un amour maternel qui ne passerait pas les liens du sang, c'est l'amitié entre les peuples juif et arabe, c'est le poids de l'Histoire allégé par l'appétit de vivre. Le roman se passe à Belleville, vingtième arrondissement de Paris, sixième étage sans ascenseur. Momo a dix ans, peut-être quatorze en réalité. Cela fait beaucoup de chiffres pour un môme qui réinvente le dictionnaire et a le sens de la maxime : Je pense que pour vivre, il faut s'y prendre très jeune, parce qu'après on perd toute sa valeur et personne ne vous fera de cadeaux.

Le premier volume de la recherche.
Jaurias voulu que Lambert Wilson parle un peu plus lentement. En revanche André Dussollier était sublime. Sa voix, si profonde, si sincère ne peut venir d'autre part que du cœur. Il est bien facile de se faire une image su mystérieux narrateur avec cette voix grave et ronde.

Parfait en tout point.
Quel bonheur d'avoir enfin trouvé toute La Recherche sur Audible USA. Vivant à NYC, cela faisait des années que je l'attendais, et je n'ai pas été déçue. En fait, les lectures d'André Dussollier et Lambert Wilson n'ont fait qu'ajouter au plaisir du texte. Dussollier lit avec révérence de sa voix douce et chaude. Wilson ne lit pas. Il est la voix de Proust. Il interprète le texte avec mille nuances qui flirtent avec une affectation délicieusement Proustienne. S'il n'y avait pas les 6 autres volumes en attente, j'aurais immédiatement relu Du Côté de Chez Swann. Merci à Audible USA d'offrir enfin les chefs d'oeuvres de la littérature française dans des productions d'une telle qualité.

C’est Formidable!
This is the first audiobook I felt compelled to review. A wonderful experience as I read the book simultaneously in French and English.
