About this listen

Druidry and Wicca are the two great streams of Western Pagan tradition. Both traditions are experiencing a renaissance all over the world, as more and more people seek a spirituality rooted in a love of nature and the land. Increasingly, listeners are combining the ideas of both traditions to craft their own spiritual practice. In this down-to-earth, inspiring guide, Philip Carr-Gomm offers a name for this Path that draws on the common beliefs and practices of Wicca and Druidry: DruidCraft.

DruidCraft draws on the traditions of scholarship, storytelling, magical craft and seasonal celebration of both the Craft and Druidry to offer inspiration, teachings, rituals, and magical techniques that can help you access your innate powers of creativity, intuition and healing.

Came here for druid history

Got a completely different outlook on Wiccan/druid practice. Eye opening and very positive. I'm not into organized religion at all coming from a Christian background everyone has always told me that Christianity it's just a bunch of rules.. but reading this book made me think that there are more rules in Wiccan rituals! I'm a little ignorant on exactly how rituals work and what special herbs you have to use for what spell or blessing. it all sounds so complicated. but I do enjoy how this book really focuses on intention. I love the stories about the God that was able to heal all ailments and envy being his downfall that was beautiful. I love that the relationship with nature is a strong priority in the practice well. Definitely not a lot of druid history, no human sacrifice or wicker man, but definitely a good read.

Worth the listen. Seriously. I was hesitant at first but the narration and stories were so captivating. The meditation sequence was awesome.

A very refreshing book! If you find yourself disengaging from your studies or feel like you are reading the same things over and over give this audio book a try. I will definitely be listening to it many more times!

Remarkable!

This book and the reading thereof revealed answers to so many questions and debunked the myths surrounding the Craft for me. Highly recommended!

Excellent in Every Way!

New or seasoned on either path, Druidry or Wicca, this is a sensational book and so beautifully produced by the author! Including Celtic music, different meditations and applied rituals, I recommend Druidcraft as a must read/experience!

Homecoming

Recent OBOD Ovate graduate. Today, I was inspired to join audible. Was excited to see this in their library. Listened to the whole thing this afternoon while sewing a new ritual tunic. Love the Carr-Gomm family narrations! Well done!!! Damh’s music, magical as always.
Yes, I too feel there is balance in gleaning from both Druidry and Wicca!!! Nuinn’s Book of Druidry has been one of my resources for 4 years now, as well as Gerald’s Book of Shadows. I really enjoyed PCG’s deeper description of their friendship. Druidcraft is lovely and grounding. I’m inspired to add even more intention and ceremony to my day!!

Lovely sermon on Druidcraft's tenets and practices

I bought the Druidcraft tarot deck awhile back because of the beautiful artwork and found that the book accompanying it was thoughtful and rich. So, I was thrilled to learn there was an audiobook about Druidcraft, narrated by PCG and his family. I was not disappointed. I found the narration lovely to listen to and the way that the listener is threaded through lore and magical practice was done in a very engaging way.

I really enjoyed the ritual examples and meditation and the fact that this book does not treat the reader as a beginner student, rather it guides you through deeper understanding of the melding of history and spiritual practice in a way that is beautiful to experience. I loved the music and narrative elements very much and wish it was longer. There should be more books like this for those of us who are no longer satisfied by rudimentary witchcraft 101 books and who would like to have more thoughtful material to ponder in our pagan practice.

Absolutely amazing!!!!!

I've been listening to many, many audio books on related topics over the months, but this one blew me away! I plan to listen to it several times. The narrators are positively amazing and draw you right into the story. The content is so rich that I'm thinking of buying the hard copy as well - BUT - I wouldn't have missed the audio version for anything! Beautiful to listen to in the car or while doing house or yard work through your phone and headset.
I so enjoyed it and can't thank the author and narrators enough!
This is an award-winning work!
