Indiana Jones meet Dragon Shifter

The first book had a Da Vinci code feel but book 2 has an Indiana Jones vibe to it. I can’t get enough! We learn what happened to Serenity mom and like the vampires, we get a glimpse of another enemy... the Fae.

Reverse Harem Paranormal Romance

Dragon's Tears by Eva Chase is a reverse harem paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Joe Arden and Felicity Munroe. This is the second book in The Dragon Shifter's Mates Series.

I love Eva's books! I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I am really enjoying the slow burn relationship between Ren, Marco, West, Aaron, and West. I can't wait to see how their relationship will progress over the course of the series. I really enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book ended on another cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait to jump into the next book in the series Dragon's Desire.

Joe and Felicity did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a paranormal romance, shifter romance, or a why choose romance.

Omg bow down to the dang Queen!

I LOVED this installment in the series. I really enjoyed how much more of REN’s personality was shared. Gah she’s such a baddie 🥰 Seriously, she’s really turning into a HBIC and I love that vibe for her.

Then men are great too haha.

The narrators are so so good and do such a great job with bringing the characters alive. Love it so much!

it was okay

the story is very compelling. I find myself wanting to know what happens next. so I will definitely be buying the other books in the series when they become available. however, there are a lot of filler chapters!! these chapters were boring and didn't have much to do with the story. you find yourself skipping as theyake the storyline move very slowly.

Meh

There is way too much of the female pov. You barely get any of the mates povs. It kind of drags and it gets a little boring. I don’t care how many times the fmc says she was homeless it didn’t make me pity her or feel for her. There is no real emotional connection to any of the characters. Even the mates were kind of drab and dull. The author tried to make the wolf mate seem interesting because he’s all broody and antagonistic towards his mate, but it got old fast. Fmc spends first part of book pining for wolf mate’s attention. To be spurned time and time again even if she was just in his presence.

It’s not horrible. It has a decent storyline. I think that’s what made me finish listening. In my opinion I stories more with a balance of characters voices. I get tired of just seeing or hearing the female perspective. I’m female. I kinda know how some of our inner thought processes work. But hearing a male perspective more than bare minimum can make a story for me even if mundane, etc. I gave this a shot because of the dual narrative especially with a male narrator. And I like dragons. I’ve written 3 1/2 books in a series on my perspective of dragon shifters. 2 are complete. 1 is almost finished. 1 is a wip. Still, this has potential. It just falls a little flat imo.
