About this listen

Enter Dragon Wars, a continuation of an exciting new reverse harem urban fantasy, where paranormal monsters fly and magic fights back!

Brooklyn just discovered she’s the only female dragon in existence - and the key to everything. She can see things others can’t and summon strength no one else can. Brooklyn attends York Academy, a school of NYC’s elite, to get her magic under control, though her rapidly manifesting powers are too much for her inexperience.

But her unbound magic is nothing compared to the four guys that want to protect - and share - her as a girlfriend.

A battle between the slayers and the dragons is brewing. Brooklyn has one choice. She must address the Slayers Council and make a peace before the dragons attack again and wipe out the Academy. With the help of her boys, it should be easy, but nothing in Brooklyn’s life is ever easy.

It’s time to prepare for war.

action, dragons and romance

I was excited to listen to this because I love other books Kristin wrote and Dragon Shifters! I listened to the books out of order and picked up book 2 first, so I started right away with Brooklyn already aware she is a Dragon Shifter training to be a Dragon Slayer.
The story is set in an academy type setting with a RH that stays PG. The thing that I usually don’t love in a RH is where the female obsesses over the guys, and Brooklyn did it to an extent in the book, but a lot of it seemed to be from the tension between the guys, which made it more believable for me.
Brooklyn definitely feels 18 in the story and at times I wondered how she would face all the challenges of knowing she is the creature all her classmates are training to kill. I did like the way Brooklyn’s relationship with the guys helped her grow stronger in controlling her dragon, but I would have loved to learn even more about the dragons through the story, maybe the next book!
This book is filled with action, dragons, and RH romance. If you love those things, you will love this book.
